CPA, CPM, ABC, and 123

I recently came into contact with someone I’d know of for a long time but never had opportunity to meet. He goes buy the name ShoeMoney. He’s an exceptional affiliate and adsense marketer and, wonder of wonders, he can code a mean script ๐Ÿ™‚ While I was reading his blog today I came across this entry. I especially liked:

Too true. Some folks are complete idiots when it comes to AdSense etc and just because they are making $1000 a month doesn’t mean you will. Most of the time a very small amount of effort can net you substantial gaines in income without having to increase your traffic.

These days I live in a corporate SEO world where CTR is the holy grail to be held high aloft and worshipped as the end and and be all of many SEO/M campaigns. Doesn’t make more sense to measure income and profitability?
