For any of you Colbert Report fans out there you’ll be well familiar with ColbertNation.com. Colbert mentions them on nearly every show and they have their URL in the credits at the end of the show. Not bad. As an SEO/Viral Marketer that’s the kind of thing I dream of. Tho I suppose I’d actually have to get off my ass and build a real website about something first…

Anyhow…I stop by ColbertNation.com on a fairly regular basis and I definitly wanted to see what they had to say about the whole Wikipedia battle that’s been raging and I was disappointed to see that the site hasn’t been updated since July 28. Where’s the dedication? the love? It seems Avery and Bert missed out covering the best thing Stephen’s done yet. It’s all over the forums but not on the blog. I’d much rather read the blog than wade the ALL CAPS postings of rabid Colbert fans.
That said I will grant that perhaps they are busy with the new forums at ColbertNation.com. Roughly 2 weeks old and already 3329 registered users and over 30K posts. Nicely done.

Somebody mention this blog on a TV show please.
